Compliance

Believing that our Health Care Professionals are critical to enhancing participant experience, IWS holds as a core principle an adherence to putting the best people forward for testing and screening procedures. Background checks, certification requirements, referenced experience, and personal interview and training is an example of some of the requirements a Health Care Professional must go through in order to be a member of the IWS team.

All IWS Health Care Professionals are required at a minimum* to comply with the United State's Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards for the safe collection and handling of all specimens, instrumentalities and waste. Furthermore, all IWS personnel are additionally required to a minimum compliance* to the Federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) for assured confidentiality of personal information.

* Where certain State regulations may supersede Federal standards, than those State regulations are followed at a minimum.
